Frequently asked questions

Will these bullet points work on Instagram and LinkedIn?

Yes. The bullets are ordinary Unicode characters, not rich-text formatting, so they paste cleanly into Instagram captions, LinkedIn posts, bios, YouTube descriptions and almost any other text field.

Can I use a symbol that is not in the list?

Yes. Choose “Custom” and type any character you like — a diamond, a chevron, a tilde — and it becomes the bullet for every line.

How do I make an indented, nested-looking list?

Increase the indent setting to push bullets to the right. For a two-level look, run the tool once for main points and again with a bigger indent and different symbol for sub-points.

Does it add bullets to empty lines?

Not if “Skip blank lines” is on, which is the default. Blank lines are preserved as spacing but stay symbol-free.

Is anything I type stored or uploaded?

No. The tool runs completely in your browser — your text never leaves your device.
