Your files stay on your device

All tools on ByteTools process your files and text locally in your web browser using JavaScript. Images, PDFs, documents and any content you work with are never uploaded to our servers. Closing the page removes the data from memory.

Information we collect

• Usage analytics: we may collect anonymous, aggregated statistics (page views, browser type, country) to understand which tools are useful. This data cannot identify you.
• Local storage:preferences such as dark mode are stored in your browser's local storage and never transmitted to us.
• Contact messages: if you email us, we keep the correspondence to respond to you.
