About the Invert PDF Colors

This tool produces a genuinely dark version of the file. The full invert flips every colour channel, turning white pages black and black text white. The hue-preserving mode is more subtle: it flips only the lightness of each pixel and leaves hue and saturation alone, so a red heading stays red and photographs stay recognisable instead of turning into negatives.

Pages are re-rendered and rebuilt as images, so choose a resolution that matches how you will read the file. The trade-off is that the result is no longer searchable or selectable — keep the original for that. All rendering happens in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
