Keyword Clustering Tool
Group a pasted keyword list into topic clusters using Jaccard token similarity, with an adjustable threshold, an editable stopword list and CSV export.
Two keywords join the same cluster when their token sets overlap by more than 40%. Lower the threshold for broader topic groups, raise it for tight variant sets.
Clustering works purely on the words in your list — no search volume, difficulty or SERP data is fetched, and nothing you paste leaves your browser. Pair it with your own volume export for prioritisation.
What is the Keyword Clustering Tool?
Paste a keyword list and this tool groups it into topics. Each keyword is lowercased, stripped of stopwords and reduced with light suffix trimming, then turned into a set of tokens.
- Jaccard similarity over stopword-stripped, suffix-trimmed token sets
- Adjustable threshold from 10% to 90% with live re-clustering
- Single-linkage grouping so related variants chain into one topic
- Clusters named from their two most frequent terms in natural spelling
- Editable stopword list and automatic duplicate removal
- CSV export of every cluster — no API, no upload, no account

About the Keyword Clustering Tool
Paste a keyword list and this tool groups it into topics. Each keyword is lowercased, stripped of stopwords and reduced with light suffix trimming, then turned into a set of tokens. Any two keywords whose token sets overlap by more than your chosen Jaccard threshold are pulled into the same cluster, and clusters chain together through shared members.
The threshold slider is the whole control surface: drop it and you get a handful of broad topic groups, raise it and you get tight sets of near-identical variants. Each cluster is named after its two most common terms, and the stopword list is editable so you can tune it to your language or niche.
Clustering works purely on the words in your list. No search volume, difficulty or SERP data is fetched, nothing is uploaded, and the whole calculation runs in your browser — pair the output with your own volume export to prioritise.
Frequently asked questions
What is keyword clustering?
It is the practice of grouping a large keyword list into topics so that one page can target a whole cluster instead of publishing a near-duplicate page for every phrasing. It turns a flat list into a content plan.
What does the Jaccard threshold actually control?
Jaccard similarity is the number of tokens two keywords share divided by the number of distinct tokens across both. At 40%, 'best running shoes' and 'best running shoe for men' group together; raise it and only tighter variants merge.
Does this tool use search volume or SERP data?
No. It has no network access at all, so it clusters purely on the words in your list. That makes it instant and private, but it means you should pair the clusters with your own volume or difficulty export when prioritising.
Why did two obviously related keywords end up apart?
They probably share too few tokens at the current threshold — 'marathon training plan' and 'how long is a marathon' overlap on only one word. Lower the threshold, or add the words that are getting in the way to the stopword list.
How many keywords can I cluster at once?
Up to 1,200 in one pass, because the comparison is pairwise and grows quickly. If your list is longer, split it by topic or by starting letter first, and the tool tells you how many rows it left out.
