Choosing between these Finance & Crypto APIs
Financial data APIs are the fastest-moving category in this directory: free tiers get withdrawn, endpoints get versioned and hosts move. Every API here was called live before publishing, and the verification date is printed on each page so you can see how fresh the check is.
For currency conversion, Frankfurter is the cleanest no-key option and draws its rates from European Central Bank reference data. For crypto, CoinGecko and Binance both return useful data without authentication, though CoinGecko applies a per-minute limit on unauthenticated calls.
