No. M4A audio is usually lossy AAC, and whatever the AAC encoder discarded is gone. The WAV is an uncompressed, edit-ready copy of the current audio — nothing more, nothing less.

Can I convert iPhone voice memos with this?

Why is the WAV so much larger than the M4A?
