Sometimes a document reads better as one continuous sheet: a comic, a scroll-style report, a contact sheet of a slide deck or a single page you can pin up on a wall. This tool measures every page, builds one big sheet and places the pages onto it in a column, a row or a grid.

Pages are placed as vector artwork rather than pictures, so text stays selectable, lines stay crisp at any zoom and the file stays small. Pages that carry a rotation flag are counter-rotated so they land the right way up, and mixed page sizes are centred inside a common cell.

The work is done in your browser with pdf-lib and nothing is uploaded. PDF viewers refuse pages larger than 14,400 points (200 inches), so if your montage would exceed that, the tool scales it down to fit and tells you by how much.

How do I merge all PDF pages into one page?

Upload the file, pick the vertical layout and click Combine Into One Page. Every page is stacked top to bottom on a single very tall sheet, with the gap and margin you chose between them.

Will the text still be selectable afterwards?

Yes. Each page is embedded as a form XObject rather than a picture, so the text, links inside the artwork and vector graphics survive. You can still search and copy from the result.

Why was my sheet scaled down?

The PDF format limits a page to 14,400 points, which is 200 inches or about 5 metres. If your stack would be taller than that, the tool shrinks the whole montage to fit and shows the percentage it used.

What is the difference between this and merging PDFs?

Merging puts several documents one after another and keeps them as separate pages. This tool takes one document and puts all of its pages side by side on a single physical page.

Can I do this with only some of the pages?

Yes. Type a range such as 1-8 in the pages box and only those pages are placed on the sheet.
